Release day, Party and goodies

Tonight is the night girls... Our Release Party starts at 9 pm Central time over in SCS Forums. You will want to come check out the party, prizes and FUN! Be sure to check out your chance to win the set today over on the newsletter. Now onto the set, we have for you Christmas Tea. I made the coolest little basket from this template on SCS. I have another gift done, yea... This is for another teacher at the boys school. I have added some hot chocolates and marshmallows to this set. I just love how this turned out.
Below I have made a card using the larger tea cups in the set. I went with a soft and warm feel for the colors from a picture that I have sitting on my desk. I cut out the flower and popped it up on a dimensional, and added some sparkle to the cup.

Lampost greetings Day four

So have you enjoyed all the sneak peeks so far? Flourishes really knows how to wrap up the season don't they? Today we are using the set Lampost. This is a very versatile set for card making. I worked up a few cards for you today and a fun one as well. This one is using some basic grey paper, brads and ribbon..... very simple.

The below card is a springy birthday card very simple as well. I layered a spellbinders shape in the background and some doubled up ribbon.

For the one below I went out on a limb and tried the Snowglobe technique I found over on SCS here. What a fun shaped card. My sister is going to love this, she has a collection of different snowglobes. I used Cottage home as well as Lampost for this one. I have sparkle all over the place on the inside, but the picture wouldn't grab most of it. Laying flat this looks like the post is in front of the fence. How cool, or I think so. haha Sorry for the glare off the accetate but I couldn't get it to take without it.

Santa treats day Three

***I would like to say Thank You to all the Veteran's today as well as their families. I appreciate all you sacrifice in keeping our country safe. God Bless you and your families. May God keep you safe while you are away.***
Every year we put out a little snack for Santa. The boys really put some effort into the snacks, usually its cookies. This year we thought we would put out something he can take in the sleigh with him as he is going around house to house. hee hee This set is called Christmas Borders. I made this little treasure box to hold some hershey kisses. I can't find the template now, but I will find it and edit this later. I also stamped out the boys letter that they send to Santa each year. One of the boys started his list for you to see. And I doubt that Santa will get him his dirt bike this year, but that is why its a *wish* list right... right... lol

Below I have stamped out our special photo cards that we mail to family. This border set is perfect for photo cards. I know that family is going to like the photos being displayed in a handmade photo card verses the ones we have sent in the past. I added a few jewels to the corners and we can still write our letter on the inside. How cool is that.

Stocking and tags Day two

Happy Tuesday! Today we have some warm and fuzzy stockings for you... lol Well at least I do, this set is called Fancy Labels. I made a fun little stocking cocoa gift set for the boys teacher. I have added some marshmallows into a clear box and used two of the tags in the set for the front. The stocking set can be found from Lauren Meader here. I have been meaning to try this and finally got a chance.

Below is a candy bar that I wrapped in Basic Grey Eskimo kisses paper, added some felt snowlakes that Linda sent me. Thank you Linda, I made the little tag with mytag punches from SU. I used the sentiment and a flourishes from the Fancy Labels set. This is great for some of the neighbor kids that the boys like to play with. And it doesn't cost a whole lot. :0)

Below is some more images and sentiment from the Fancy Labels set. I made this little tag tin set full for my mom since she gives out a lot of homemade gifts for the ladies at church. I gave her a lot of ribbon to use on each since she always likes to trim them down after she adds them to the gifts. I have jewels on them, and you can see the side view of the tin at the bottom as well.

Now the girls have some wonderful ideas for you as well the girls from Friends of Flourishes Blog team. So you have double the surprises today. Be sure to check them out:
